Q- Can we customise the building?

Although we have a good range of standard designs, heights and widths can be changed if necessary within engineering limitations.

Q- Can you turn your barn into living accommodation?

Yes, however specifications for some components need to be upgraded.
All living accommodation needs to be draughted individually to satisfy Building Consent requirements.

Q- Does Rod Douglas Construction obtain the Building Consent?

Yes, where we are carrying out the erection of the building.

Q- Do you have plumbers and electricians on your team?

As we build to shell stage only, these additional trades people are normally engaged by the owner.

Q- What do you need in terms of site preparation?

Ideally we require a level site with a minimum of 75mm metal across the building platform.

Q- What about access for delivery and construction vehicles?

As you’ll need vehicular access to your shed once built, you may as well put in access at the same time the site is prepared.
